Mind & Body Kent offers various practical classes to encourage the joy of moving with others, as well as looking after your physical wellbeing.

Studies in dance therapy have shown what dancers have always known — that movement heals. Dancing and moving together boosts mood, eases depression, and helps us feel more connected, reducing loneliness and social isolation. I have always enjoyed movement, sport and exercise but had never tried Contemporary dance. Not only did I find a supportive, positive, mixed ability group of women, but found a new way of really working my body without fear of injury. Our teacher Ali really understands the importance of balance, flexibility and the repetition needed to create beautiful dance whilst having fun and feeling good about yourself.
